Signed "Stan"Langtwait Sculptured Cascade Clay Horsehead Bookends

These bookends are custom sculptured by Stan Langtwait who shapes then fires to produce the unique finish.  He uses Clay from Mount St. Helens Ash. Its considered Modern, Brutalist style art made out of local clay from WA and Mt. St. Helens ash. The craggy and rustic appearance is a beautiful display for Rustic or Modernist decor. The bookends have lots of cracks and holes through the sides which ad an element of interest. This is a larger piece likely form the 80's, and it is signed on the bottom. It is a heavy and sturdy piece
