Mid-Century Modern (MCM) Gudme Mobelfabrik A/S Table w/4 Chairs

This is Mid-Century Modern expandable dining table manufactured in Denmark and designed by Niels Moller for Gudme Mobelfabrik. Featuring richly grained, gleaming teak and smooth, clean lines characteristic of classic Danish design. Makers label (Gudme Mobelfabrik) is present on underside, remains in original condition throughout. This remarkable pedestal teak table rest on two V shape pedestal supports, which provides stable support. and comes with two extension leaves to accommodate extra seating, transforming seating capacity from four to six or eight, extending up to 77 1/2″, the brackets beneath release to allow the table to slide open and accept two drop-in extension leaf (available), also with brackets underneath locking them securely in place. Fully extended, it becomes a large table. Without leaves, the table measures 38 1/2″. Perfect table for a kitchen or dining room, and due to size flexibility, will function wonderfully in a small or large space. 

There are four (4) matching chairs with the curved wooden backs. There are an additional (2) chairs that are not the same exact design, but match and have the same upholstery (bonus chairs).

Table measures 29" H x 38.5" W x 38.5" L (77" with leaves)

Condition: Base is stable and sturdy; extension hardware operates smoothly; the wood tabletop shows several stains, scratches and wear. See photos for details.
