*James Lofton, football player and coach. He is a former coach for the San Diego Chargers but is best known for his years in the NFL as a wide receiver for the Green Bay Packers (1978–1986), Los Angeles Raiders (1987–1988), the Buffalo Bills (1989–1992), Los Angeles Rams (1993) and Philadelphia Eagles (1993).

*Franco Harris, running back who played for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Seattle Seahawks. The Steelers picked him in the first round of the 1972 NFL Draft, the 13th selection. He played his first 12 years in the NFL with the Steelers; his 13th and final year was spent with the Seahawks.

*Steve Largent was a wide receiver for the Seattle Seahawks in the National Football League for his 14-season professional career.
