Adjustable Standing Lamp has a swivel to it also. Great reading lamp. This is a halogen lamp and puts out great light. The toggle switch located on the mid-column allows for two different light levels choices (High, low... and, of course, off). 

There are two thumb levers that allow the setting of the height and angle of the banker lampshade. The base is heavy to prevent tipping and is 9" in diameter. When collapsed the light is 42" tall. When fully extended it is 57" tall.
